Methodology

Facts come from the HHS Office for Civil Rights, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the eCFR, OSHA, CDC, the Administration for Community Living, Ready.gov, the U.S. Department of Labor, the Federal Register and the Sixth Circuit. We do not publish state requirement lists; every state-specific point sends you to your state licensing agency. We describe federal rules only at a high level and do not give legal advice. We do not publish costs, page counts, timelines or readiness ratings. This site does not cover training hours, hiring, marketing or billing.

Every outline section names its source, points to your state’s rules, or is marked as your own planning. The outline shows counts, not scores. Not legal advice. Check with counsel and your state licensing agency.

Our conflict of interest

Home Care Agency Blueprint sells courses and coaching to people starting home care agencies, including startup packages. That gives it a reason to encourage you to start an agency. We try to counter that by sticking to cited sources and by keeping sales copy off the guide pages; this site links only to the free clarity call. Each page links to our booking page in the header, in one booking section at the bottom, and in the footer.

Privacy
